Who We Are
Studio Rennie is a design-led architectural practice founded by James Rennie (BArch, MArch, ARB), working primarily across London and the South East, with select projects delivered internationally.

We specialise in both private residential and commercial architecture, with a focus on delivering design-led solutions that respond to context, constraints, and client needs. Our work ranges from home extensions and new builds to conversions and commercial fit-outs.

With over a decade of experience, James brings a hands-on approach to each project, collaborating closely with engineers, planning consultants, and specialist contractors. Our practice is grounded in strong design thinking, clear communication, and technical rigor.
What we Do
We offer full architectural services across all RIBA stages, with experience spanning residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. Our work includes everything from side returns and lofts to new builds and commercial units, always tailored to context and modern living. We have a strong track record securing planning on listed buildings and in conservation areas, as well as delivering complex rural schemes such as Class Q barn conversions. We specialise in developing clear planning strategies and producing well-coordinated technical packages focused on build quality and delivery.
